Jeonbuk International Cooperation Agency is a public diplomacy institution established in Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province in 2015 to create a community where residents and foreign nationals living in the province can communicate and live together, thereby enhancing Jeonbuk’s international competitiveness.

Our vision, 'Linking the world, Building relations', means that Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province will enhance its international competitiveness by establishing relationships through exchange and cooperation with the world. To this end, we are engaging in various activities

• Attracting foreign students through the operation of the 「Overseas Saemangeum Korean Language Institute」, and establishing cooperation systems by exchanging cultures with sister and friendly regions through the 「Overseas Sister Friendly Area Exchange Project」
• Enhancing the global capabilities of Jeonbuk residents through the 「operation of the Jeonbuk Public Diplomacy Corps」 and the 「International Exchange Understanding Class」 on the Go
• Enhancing Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province's contribution to the international community and global image through development cooperation projects targeting developing countries
• Operating the 「Jeonbuk Foreign Workers Support Center」 to provide support for foreign workers to settle well in the local community, including residency support, Korean language education, information provision, and various counseling programs

Additionally, our agency is leading a new paradigm of global diplomacy by creating an institutional foundation for local diplomacy activation so that Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province can make its presence felt in the international community.

In the future, Jeonbuk International Cooperation Agency will continue to promote Jeonbuk's excellent traditional culture and its strengths in agriculture and life sciences, enhancing Jeonbuk’s international stature through extensive exchanges with the world.
